Abstract

The invention discloses a method for printing on a continuously moving sheet. The method includes the steps of: S100, providing a printing apparatus having a frame defining a work support surface; providing a device for continuously moving a sheet at a known speed in the longitudinal direction of first coordinates; providing a lathy support part above the work support surface, wherein the frame isconnected to at least one printing head and extends horizontally; the printing heads are movably connected to the lathy support part and define a plurality of discrete printing elements; providing amatrix array with a defined array height; and providing a device used for moving the printing heads between a first end and a second end to penetrate through the lathy support device. The method disclosed by the invention can adopt a plurality of staggered printing heads; and each printing head is slidably connected to the lathy support part and keeps a predetermined distance from the next continuous printing head.
