The invention discloses a scenic spot people-searching system based on video detection, and the system comprises: a first mobile terminal which is used for transmitting help-seeking information to a rear-end server, and the help-seeking information comprises a face image of a lost person; front-end monitoring equipment which is used for acquiring a video image, detecting a face image in the videoimage according to a first instruction of the rear-end server, sending the detected face image to the rear-end server, and playing the person searching information according to a second instruction ofthe back-end server; and a rear-end server which is used for sending a first instruction to the front-end monitoring equipment according to the help seeking information, comparing the face image uploaded by the front-end monitoring equipment with the face image sent by the help seeking equipment, and sending a second instruction to the front-end monitoring equipment meeting a first preset condition after successful comparison.
