The method comprises the steps of obtaining a layout configuration file of a to-be-deployed cloud platform, wherein the layout configuration file comprises a node type of each node of the to-be-deployed cloud platform and configuration information of each node under each node type, and the configuration information comprises component information of a to-be-deployed component and a communication relationship between the nodes; reading the node type of the node from the layout configuration file, and determining the configuration information of the node from the layout configuration file according to the read node type; based on the determined configuration information, deploying components in the node and configuring the node according to the communication relationship with othernodes.
