Problems solved by technology

[0003] At this stage, for hybrid networks with multiple network architectures, the main design idea is that during traffic forwarding, between domains corresponding to different network architectures, packet formats are converted to each other through border devices, and the forwarding efficiency is low. And for some devices in a domain that do not support another network architecture, especially when these devices are not continuous on the path, multiple conversions are required, the forwarding efficiency is further reduced, and it is not conducive to end-to-end operation and maintenance
[0004] Or, for the same service, two routes are advertised during route advertisement, which correspond to the forwarding planes of different network architectures respectively. However, when encountering route selection, only one network architecture can take effect at the same time, resulting in resource occupation and efficiency. In addition, if two routes are used to advertise, the problem of route asynchrony may be encountered. For example, when the service fails and the route needs to be withdrawn, if the two routes are withdrawn sequentially, forwarding failures may occur during the period

Abstract

The invention provides a message processing method, which is applied to first boundary equipment. The method comprises the following steps: sending a routing notification message of a virtual privatenetwork to second boundary equipment, wherein the route notification message can indicate whether the first boundary device supports a first network architecture or not and indicate whether the firstboundary device supports a second network architecture or not; receiving a second service message sent by a second boundary device, wherein the second service message is obtained by the second boundary device from the first service message according to the first network architecture or the second network architecture supported by the first boundary device. The invention further provides a messageprocessing method applied to the second boundary device, the boundary device and a computer readable medium.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of communication, and in particular to a packet processing method, a border device and a computer-readable medium. Background technique [0002] As an important network service, a Virtual Private Network (VPN for short) needs to be deployed in a hybrid network with multiple network architectures not only conveniently and flexibly, but also to facilitate the upgrade and transformation of the hybrid network. [0003] At this stage, for hybrid networks with multiple network architectures, the main design idea is that during traffic forwarding, between domains corresponding to different network architectures, packet formats are converted to each other through border devices, and the forwarding efficiency is low. Moreover, for some devices in a domain that do not support another network architecture, especially when the paths of these devices are not continuous, multiple conversions are required, which f...
