The differential synchronization method comprises the following steps: marking variables by asystem: marking software fingerprints and project id variables by a smart television system; initializing a Tvconfig Version version number to serve as a basis for judging whether to issue configurable partition data of the television or not and differential analysis; performing data uploading: the smart television uploads the software fingerprint, the item id and the TvConfig Version number dataheld by the smart television; performing data auditing: the cloud audits whether the intelligent television needs to update the configurable partition data of the television; performing differentialanalysis: the cloud compares different versions according to the TvConfig Version number uploaded by the smart television to generate differential data; performing data issuing: the smart television updates the configurable data of the smart television according to the differential data generated by the cloud.
