Abstract

A parking assistance device (1) is provided with a travel route setting unit, a travel route supplying unit, an information acquiring unit, and a determining unit. The travel route setting unit sets a travel route from the position of a vehicle (5) to a parking location. The travel route supplying unit supplies the vehicle with information indicating the travel route. The information acquiring unit acquires information including the location of the vehicle and the situation within a parking lot.
