The combined cycle peak and frequency regulation direct air cooling unit comprises a direct air cooling unit and a combined cycle system, wherein a water feeding inlet of the combined cycle system is connected with a water feeding outlet of a direct air cooling condensing steam turbine unit; power outputs of the direct air cooling unit and the combined cycle system are connected with a power grid; and the adjustment means and capacity of the direct air cooling unit are increased, the fluctuation frequency of a steam admission adjusting valve of the steam turbine of the direct air cooling unit is reduced, and the operation safety and economical efficiency of the direct air cooling unit are improved. In a combined cycle system, a boiler following coordination control mode CCS-BF is adopted, the combined cycle system is small in size, small in inertia, fast in load response, relatively small in front pressure fluctuation and relatively small in energy loss; and through an adjusting mode of combining the combined cycle CCS-BF and the direct air cooling unit CCS-TF, the contradiction between economic operation and peak and frequency regulation capacity of the direct air cooling unit is effectively relieved, and the regulation efficiency and the regulation safety of the direct air cooling unit in a future high-frequency sub-wide load application scene are improved.
