The method comprises the following steps: injecting a detection voltage signal of a specified parameter into a to-be-detected distribution transformer; acquiring a frequency response signal, corresponding to the detection voltage signal, of the distribution transformer to be detected; making a current control chart according to the frequency response signal and a preset abnormal frequency response signal; judging whether the difference between the current control chart and a preset standard control chart exceeds a preset judgment standard or not; and if the difference exceeds the judgment standard, determining that the winding of the to-be-detected distribution transformer has defects, and generating a detection result. The corresponding standard control chart is made in advance when the distribution transformer to be detected is normal, the detection voltage signal is injected again during commissioning detection to obtain the current control chart, and whether the difference between the two control charts exceeds the preset judgment standard or not is judged.
