Abstract

Sharing of frequency generator settings in a network is disclosed. In a particular implementation, a wireless communication method includes determining, by a user equipment (UE), a first frequency setting for a frequency generator of the UE. The first frequency setting is associated with a first frequency. The method includes modifying the first frequency setting to generate a second frequency setting for the frequency generator. The second frequency setting is associated with a second frequency different from the first frequency. The method also includes generating a message indicating the second frequency setting. The method also includes transmitting a message from the UE to the base station.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims the benefit of U.S. Patent Application Serial No. 16 / 922,627, filed July 7, 2020, entitled "SHARING FREQUENCY GENERATOR SETTINGS IN NETWORKS," and filed July 17, 2019, entitled "SHARING REQUENCY GENERATOR SETTINGS IN NETWORKS" U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 62 / 875,269, the entire contents of which are expressly incorporated herein by reference. technical field [0003] Aspects of the disclosure relate generally to wireless communication systems, and more particularly, by way of example and not limitation, to frequency generator (eg, local oscillator) settings. Background technique [0004] Wireless communication networks are widely deployed to provide various communication services such as voice, video, packet data, messaging, broadcast, and so on. These wireless networks may be multiple-access networks capable of supporting multiple users by sharing available network resources. Such ...
