Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of making flat leg shorts having side seams, a shrunken crotch region and a dropped leg. Supplied with flat fabric. Portions were removed from the flat fabric to form pant leg openings. The flat fabric is then elastically or non-elastically contracted in selected regions along the flat fabric between the two pant leg openings. The flat fabric was cut into separate pieces, folded, and side seams formed. The shorts may include absorbent material.
