Abstract

The present invention discloses new use of orange essence in sterilizing. The orange essence emulsion includes orange essence in 74.8% and glycerin in 25.2%, and is prepared through the following steps: 1. washing orange and crushing in mill to form emulsion; 2. centrifuging concentration to reach 1/8 of original weight; 3. adding glycerin in 30 %, mixing, stilling for 72 hr and shaking for 10 min; 4. 120-mesh centrifugal filtering to eliminate dregs; and 5. adding sufficient lactic acid to regulate pH value to 2.2-3.2.
