Abstract

The present invention provides a portable terminal having a built-in camera for receiving visible light communication. In addition to a camera(21) of a conventional portable terminal(20) having a built-in camera, a visible light receiving part(24), which faces in the same direction as a light receiving lens of the camera(21), is provided so as to receive information from visible light. The information from the visible light is received by the light receiving part(24). The light receiving part(24) can be, for instance, composed of a photodiode and the like. The camera(21) is used as a finder, and when a lighting fixture which is performing visible light communication is displayed on a display of the camera, the information of the visible light communication can be received by the light receiving part(24).
