The invention is directed to provide a sytem for manufacturing a flat panel display having an advantage that grinding amount of an upper edge and a lower edge of at least one side of a panel can be detected synchronously. The flat panel display manufacturing sytem according to an embodiment of the invention includes a grinding amount detecting unit for detecting the grinding amount of the upper edge and the lower edge of at least one side of the panel, wherein the grinding amount detection unit comprises: a first grinding amount detector for synchronously detecting the grinding amount of the upper edge and the lower edge of a first side of the panel; and a second grinding amount detector for synchronously detecting the grinding amount of the upper edge and the lower edge of a second side of the panel, wherein the first and the second grinding amount detector forms a main body respectively.
