Abstract

A portable recorder or other sound device is insertable into a pocket of a plurality of different pillows. A “play” switch is connected to the sound device by a length of separable electrical cord to enable location remotely from the sound device that is identified on the pillow surface by an appliqué or other decorative marking. The sound device is easily removable for recording a message or loading a tape or CD, and can easily be transferred between pillows to enable use in a travel pillow in a conveyance.
