A flap may cover the top edge of a sink to protect the dishware or glasses from breaking.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION[0001]This application claims the benefit of priority of U.S. provisional application No. 61 / 760,567, filed Feb. 4, 2013, the contents of which are herein incorporated by reference.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0002]The present invention relates to sink accessories and, more particularly, to a protector for dishes and sinks.[0003]Sinks can be harmful to dishware, causing chips and breaks. Moreover, pots and pans can be rough on sink surfaces, causing scratches and scrapes. Current sink apparatus only provide protection to the bottom or the “saddle” of the sink.
