Abstract

The present invention addresses methods, apparatus and computer program product for enhanced network sharing with Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service. Thereby, a mechanism is provided that allows for the information relating to the different IDs used to be provided from a base station to a Multi-cell / multicast Coordination Entity so that the appropriate routing can be determined. The Multi-cell / multicast Coordination Entity may provide the Mobility Management Entity with this information so that control signaling can be properly distributed based on this information and the at least one MBMS SAI. According to the inven tion, a base station indicates one or more PLMN IDs for at least one MBMS SAI to the MCE.
