This specification discloses a web browser-based organization management method and apparatus. It involves obtaining a Document Object Model (DOM) tree corresponding to the virtual organization to which the target user belongs. The members of the virtual organization include members of at least one entity organization executing the target project. Then, based on the node coordinates in the DOM tree, the nodes are rendered to generate the target organization page. The node coordinates are (x, y), where the x-coordinate is the node's hierarchical index within the virtual organization, and the y-coordinate is the node's ordinal index within its hierarchy. It determines whether the target user has management permissions for the target organization page. If so, in response to the target user's management operation on the target organization page, based on the node coordinates of at least one node in the target organization page, the managed target organization page is obtained and displayed to the target user. This improves the collaboration efficiency between multiple organizations and reduces the complexity and cost of organization management.
