Abstract

An electrical connector assembly includes a housing having a chamber that retains a contact deflectable over a range of motion and a contact deflecting member. The chamber is configured to receive a wire and the contact is deflectable to make and break an electrical connection with the wire. The contact deflecting member is formed integrally with the housing and extends into the chamber.
