A window pane has a substrate formed from glass and includes an electrical device including an electrical conductor. An electrical connector is operatively connected to and in electrical communication with the conductor for transferring electrical energy to the conductor. An electrical connector is bonded to the electrical conductor and has a first interacting portion. A terminal is disposed adjacent to the electrical connector and has a second interacting portion for interacting with the first interacting portion to mechanically couple the electrical connector and the terminal. The substrate has a first coefficient of thermal expansion and the connector has a second coefficient of thermal expansion. A difference between the first and second coefficients of thermal expansion is equal to or less than 5×10⁻⁶/° C. A method of producing a battery-connecting plate by providing busbars which connect batteries together, attaching terminals to one end of wires to produce terminal-attached wires for detecting voltage of desired ones of the batteries, placing the terminal-attached wires in a predetermined layout in a wire protector, setting the busbars and wire protector in a mold with the burbars positioned corresponding to an arrangement of the batteries, injecting resin into the mold to produce a molded piece with the burbars and the terminal-attached wires therein, and cutting an element mount portion of each of the terminals and connecting a respective circuit protector element to the element mount portion in a bridging manner across the cut.

A microelectromechanical system (MEMS) based sensor comprises: a substrate defining a plane; a first conductive material layer having a first stress, a first portion of the first conductive material layer being connected to the substrate and extending in a substantially parallel direction to the plane defined by the substrate and a second portion being disconnected from the substrate and extending in a substantially non-parallel direction to the plane defined by the substrate; and a sensor material layer formed over at least the second portion of the first conductive material layer, the sensor material layer having a second stress that is less than the first stress of the first conductive material layer. The stresses form a stress gradient that bends the second portion of the first conductive material layer and the sensor material layer formed over the second portion of the first conductive material layer away from the substrate.

A fuse holder (10) comprising an enclosure for removably containing an electrical fuse (42). The fuse holder (10) includes at least a first (50) and a second electrically conducting terminal (52), preferably made of copper or a copper alloy. Each of the first (50) and second electrically conducting terminals (52) is in electrical contact with the fuse (42) through one or more electrically conducting elements (64, 66). The first electrically conductive terminal (50) is rotatably movable relative to the second electrically conductive terminal (52). A bracket is disposed at an opening of a cylindrical bottomed frame. A stator with a stator winding is fixed to the frame around a rotor. Stator-side terminals each having a connection portion extending toward the bracket are disposed between the stator and the bracket, and are connected with the stator winding. A connector base includes connection terminals connected with tip ends of the connection portions, a base portion with the connection terminals disposed on a surface thereof, and nuts mounted on the base portion. Leads have, at their one end, lead-side terminals in contact with the connection terminals. Screws are threaded on the nuts, respectively, for coupling the connection terminals and the lead-side terminals.

An eyelet terminal for use in a vehicle junction box or power center to connect a bus bar to an electrical wire or cable. The terminal assembly is formed as a flat metal blank with bendable portions defining a nut-trapping lock ring, an anti-rotation tab, and wire crimping tabs. One end of the terminal includes an eyelet portion having an aperture for a bolt or threaded stud, and a surface for rotatably supporting a flanged nut over the aperture. The lock ring is formed at the end of a leg or arm extending from the eyelet portion and adapted to be bent over a radius to a nut-trapping position over the nut flange and aligned with the eyelet portion. A bendable anti-rotation tab extending from the lock ring is bent from an initial flat position to a right-angled position in which it extends through a suitable aperture in the terminal when the lock ring is in the nut-trapping position.
