An annular wiring unit is provided on the end side of the stator laminations. The unit includes steering elements. The wiring unit has a supporting member which is provided with a cavity and has a slot. A plurality of distribution rings electrically insulated from one another are arranged in the cavity, each having a contact element leading outwards through the gap.
