Embodiment 1

[0027] Embodiment 1 Utilizes Shennong fragrant chrysanthemum to cultivate the method for Luzhou-flavor type ground cover chrysanthemum new variety

[0028] 1. Pollen collection and preservation: When the chrysanthemums are budding, use sulfuric acid paper bags to isolate the flower buds of the female local cover chrysanthemum variety 'Pudijin' and the male parent Shennong Xiangju. The pollen of 'Pudijin' and Shennong Xiangju were collected respectively during the full flowering stage, and stored in a dry place at 4°C. Pollen storage is critical for interspecific and intervariety hybrids that do not meet at flowering. In the present invention, the pollen is dried and stored at low temperature (dried on silica gel, stored at 4° C.), which can prolong the lifespan of the pollen to about one month.

[0029] 2. Hybrid pollination: the key to this step is to accurately grasp the fertilization period and the best pollination period of the pistil. For chrysanthemums, 10:00-11:00 in ...

Embodiment 2

[0035] The resistance (drought resistance, saline-alkali tolerance) identification of embodiment 2 hybrids

[0036] The plants with basically the same growth of the female parent 'Pudijin', the male parent Shennong Xiangju, the hybrid 'Huang Qiufang' and the cut chrysanthemum 'Huang Xiufang' were selected for salt tolerance identification. The method of watering different concentrations of salt water was used in the experiment. When processing, first prepare a certain concentration of salt solution (NaCl:Na 2 SO 4 =4: 1, simulate the main salt composition of saline-alkali soil in nature), then water salt water pot by pot according to 0.25%, 0.5%, 0.75% content gradient, the salt water 500ml that every pot pours. All treatments were repeated in pots, each repeated 3 times, arranged in sequence, and clear water was set as the control. After treatment, the salt damage index was investigated every 3 days, and the leaf plasma membrane permeability, malondialdehyde (MDA) content,...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for culturing super fine ground-cover chrysanthemum by using shennong Chrysanthemum Idicum L. It comprises following steps: employing shennong Chrysanthemum Idicum L and ground-cover chrysanthemum 'pudijin'as parent material for hybridization, separating bud with plastic bag when bud grows out, collecting pollen at full-bloom stage, storing at dry condition. Cutting the outside petal when the stamen in the first and second cycle discharges pollen, when the pistil stigma forms into V shape and the excretion appears, pollinating pollen of male parent and mentor pollen into stigma of female parent at 10: 00- 11: 00 in sunny morning; picking seed when it turns pitchy 45-60 days after pollination, and storing at dry condition; selecting hybrid in the next spring sowing, analyzing fragrant element in female and male parent material and hybrid flower, and selecting super fine ground-cover chrysanthemum variety. The new variety is characterized by fine scent, strong resistance, abundant flower, central blooming period, short or creeping plant, easy management and suitability for culture in the open.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of utilization of heterosis. Specifically, the invention relates to a method for cultivating a new variety of Luzhou-scented ground cover chrysanthemum by using Shennong chrysanthemum. Background technique [0002] Chrysanthemum (Dendrathema × grandiflorum) originates in my country, has a long history of cultivation and application in my country, and is one of the traditional famous flowers in China. Because of its rich varieties, ever-changing flower patterns and colors, and high ornamental value, it is widely planted all over the world and is one of the four major cut flowers in the world. Ground cover chrysanthemum is a variety group of chrysanthemums suitable for outdoor cultivation in garden applications. It uses early chrysanthemum 'Chrysanthemum'meiiaifen' and other small chrysanthemum varieties as female parents, and the wild species of Chrysanthemum (including semi-wild species )C.vestitum, C.chanetii, C.lav...
