Abstract

The protection device comprises a rotary motion switching component for switching translational motion of a sliding stand of the linear motor to rotary motion; a recovery component for tightening a transmission strap of the rotary motion switching component; and a braking power supply for supplying braking power; wherein the recovery component and the braking power supply are respectively equipped at two ends of the rotary motion switching component. The invention also discloses a power-cut braking protection method for the vertically installed linear motor. The invention solves the power-cut braking protection problem when vertically installing and using the linear motor.
