The present invention discloses method for moving target detection and tracking in a complex scene. The method comprises two steps of multiple moving target detection and multiple moving target tracking: in the multiple moving target detection, a background model based on self adapting nonparametric kernel density estimation is established with the aim at the monitoring of the complex scene, therefore the disturbance of the movement of tiny objects can be effectively suppressed, the target shadow is eliminated, and the multiple moving target is detected; in the multiple moving target tracking, the target model is established, the moving state of the target is confirmed through ''matching matrix'', and corresponding tracking strategy is adopted according to the different movement condition of the target. Target information is ''recovered'' through the probabilistic reasoning method, and the target screening degree of the target is analyzed with the aim at the problem that multiple targets screen mutually. The algorithm of the present invention can well realize the moving target tracking, obtains the trace of the moving target, and has good real time and ability of adapting to the environmental variation. The present invention has wide application range and high accuracy, therefore being a core method for intelligent vision monitoring with versatility.

Apparatus and method for detecting performer's motion to interactively control performance of music or the like

Performance interface system includes a motion detector provided for movement with a performer, and a control system for receiving detection data transmitted from the motion detector and controlling a performance of a tone in response to the received detection data. State of a performer's motion is detected via a sensor of the motion detector, and detection data representative of the detected motion state is transmitted to the control system. The control system receives the detection data from the motion detector, analyzes the performer's motion on the basis of the detection data, and then controls a tone performance in accordance with the analyzed data. With this arrangement, the performer can readily take part in the tone performance in the control system. For example, as the performer moves his or her hand, leg or trunk while listening to a manual or automatic performance of a music piece being carried out by a performance apparatus of the control system, the motion detector detects the performer's motion and transmits corresponding detection data to the control system, which in turn variably controls a predetermined one of tonal factors in the music piece performance. This arrangement can readily provide interactive performance control and thereby allows an inexperienced or unskilled performer to take part in a performance with enjoyment.

Method for locating walker

The invention relates to a positioning method suitable for walkers, belonging to the field of navigation, guidance and control areas, which comprises three parts: identify the motion state of the walker; calculate the real-time stride of the walker; work out the real-time latitude and longitude of the location of the walker by combining with course angle. The change of the location of the walker is mainly realized by the motion of two legs; walking makes body vibrate regularly; measure and analyze the features of the vibration; adopt the peak capture method aiming at the acceleration sampling to extract the real-time stride frequency of the walker; utilize the relation between the stride frequency and stride to work out the real-time stride of the walker; the real-time stride as the walking distance of the walker between the adjacent output value is combined with the course angle output by an electromagnet compass; and work out the real-time latitude and longitude of the location of the walker by utilizing the Earth model. Before estimating the stride, make a judgment that whether n acceleration output values represent the walking motion of the walker; the judgment is based on the energy of sampling acceleration. The positioning method suitable for walkers has the advantages that the positioning method can judge with high accuracy whether the walker is walking, efficiently improving the location accuracy of the walker.
