Abstract

The invention relates to a novel bar or pipe hexagon forming device which comprises a decelerating motor (7) and a plurality of hexagon forming mechanisms that are lengthwise arranged at intervals. Each hexagon forming mechanism comprises a support (1), a main shaft (4), a drive sprocket (10), a driven sprocket (11), a roller chain (12), two cross arm adjusting mechanisms (3), two side arm adjusting mechanisms (2) and a side arm (13). The two cross arm adjusting mechanism (3) are transversely and horizontally arranged in parallel. The inner end of the cross arm adjusting mechanism (3) is embedded into a guide rail at the oblique waist side of the support (1) and connected with the roller chain (12). The two side arm adjusting mechanisms (2) are obliquely upwards and backwards installed onthe corresponding cross arm adjusting mechanisms (3) while the included angle between the side arm adjusting mechanism (2) and the cross arm adjusting mechanism (3) is 120 degrees. A guide rail is arranged at the inner side of the side arm adjusting mechanism (2) and the side arm (13) is obliquely upwards and forwards installed on the guide rail while the included angle between the side arm (13) and the side arm adjusting mechanism (2) is 120 degrees. By adopting the hexagon forming device of the invention, the occurrence of magnetism on the materials can be completely avoided, with safety andreliability.
