The invention discloses an annealing cellular automata method for simulating a process of activated sludge absorption and stabilization, which belongs to the intelligence science and environmental engineering discipline field. The invention relates to a biochemical reaction process for utilizing an annealing cellular automata rule to stimulate sludge absorption and stabilization in an aeration tank of an activated sludge system. The method bases on an artificial life system, establishes a corresponding model in the activated sludge system, designs an evolutional rule by the annealing cellular automata rule, and performs evolutional realization; the method better stimulates the condition that microorganisms absorb and decompose organic matters, and well simulates a logarithmic phase, a resting stage and a decline phase of an activated sludge growth pattern curve, wherein, the activated sludge growth pattern curve is basically consistent with a theoretic activated sludge growth pattern curve, and the final result has small difference with the actual sludge concentration.
