Problems solved by technology

These gold film sensing devices require a complex coating process, the signal response is weak, and in practical applications, there are disadvantages such as too long adsorption equilibrium time, the film may be peeled off from the substrate when the gold film is regenerated, and the film structure has memory, which is difficult to obtain. To achieve real-time detection of atmospheric mercury, which cannot meet the needs of rapid and online detection

Embodiment Construction

[0016] Because gold has good electrical conductivity, its resistivity is small, and the concentration of gaseous mercury in the environment is generally very low, so the change of resistance after forming amalgam will be relatively small, and the change of its output signal is weak when using a DC bridge to measure. This method adopts the following two measures to enhance the change of the output signal: (1) Add a high-frequency AC signal to both ends of the gold wire, and the current passing through the gold wire is an AC signal. Because alternating current has a "skin" characteristic in the conductor, and gold and mercury form the amalgam first on the surface and then inside, and its surface resistance is greater than the internal resistance, so the change of the surface resistance of gold amalgam will be more significant. The higher the frequency of the alternating current, the shallower the skin depth. Assuming the skin depth is 0.001mm, the frequency of the alternating cur...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method used for measuring the content of mercury based on the change of high-frequency AC current in a gold amalgam. The method is characterized in that: under the condition of given time and temperature, when atmosphere containing the mercury passes through a mercury detector which contains golden wire at a certain flowing speed, firstly, the gold amalgam is formed on the surface of the golden wire, thus causing the surface resistance of the golden wire to be changed; by the 'skin effect' of the high-frequency AC current, the change of the high-frequency current is detected by an AC bridge; and the content of the atmosphere mercury can be obtained according to the change of the high-frequency current. In the method used for measuring the content of mercury, the mercury detector used for measurement utilizes a principle that the current is changed owning to the change of the resistance in the gold amalgam to test the content of the mercury in the atmosphere, saves the photoelectric conversion process of the cold-vapour atomic absorption method and the atomic fluorescence method, has good selectivity, strong anti-interference capability, is easy to realizethe individual detection and real-time detection of atmosphere mercury pollution so as to be adapted to the requirement of quick and online detection; and compared with a gold film detector, the mercury detector needs no complex coating process.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for measuring mercury content in the atmosphere, especially a method for measuring mercury content by using the change of surface resistance when gold wire and mercury form gold amalgam to cause the change of high-frequency alternating current. Background technique [0002] Mercury is the only metal that is liquid at room temperature and has fluidity; it is an easily volatile element with diffusivity and high fat solubility. Mercury is inhaled into the respiratory tract and can be absorbed by the alveoli, and enters the body tissues through the blood. The gastrointestinal tract is absorbed by the human body, and the skin, mucous membranes and epidermis of all parts of the human body can absorb mercury or mercury compounds, which can chemically react with human enzymes, so that these enzymes lose their catalytic function of important human skills. Mercury is a cumulative toxin, that is, long-term inhalation of a small a...
