Abstract

The invention relates to a method for operating a display. The method includes the following steps: firstly, an input voltage of the display is detected; when the input voltage declines to a first voltage, the data signal source of the display is cut off with a plurality of data wires, therefore, a plurality of data wires are coupled with each other. After the data wires are coupled with each other, transistors of all pixel units of the display are conducted so that electric potentials at a first end of a plurality of storage capacitances which are coupled with the transistors can be neutralized, and the transistors are coupled with data wires. After the neutralization of the electric potentials at the first end of the storage capacitances, a second end of the storage capacitances is coupled with a ground terminal.
