Embodiment Construction

[0024] like figure 1 As shown, the top-down based multi-level virtual environment modeling method is implemented as follows:

[0025] The first step is to model the topology layer, read the edited 3D virtual environment file from the outside, project it as a top view on the 2D plane, and express the connection relationship between the various regions in the environment in the form of a graph structure, such as figure 2 The flow chart of topological layer modeling shown in the figure reads the environment file, projects it into a two-dimensional top view, and abstracts the topological information of the environment through interactive user operations.

[0026] According to the two-dimensional top view of the read three-dimensional environment file, the entire virtual environment is represented as a graph of each region and the connection relationship between regions. The points in the graph represent the region blocks in the environment, and the edges in the graph represent C...

Abstract

The method discloses a modeling method based on a top-down multi-level virtual environment. The method comprises the following steps: topological layer modeling is used for reading a 3D environment file into a 2D top view, and showing the connection relation among the areas in the virtual environment by a drawing; perception layer modeling is used for dividing objects which can be perceived by a visual human into fixed objects and moving objects, and determining the perception information according to the vision scope and the distance; path layer modeling is used for providing task objects for the virtual human, and automatically searching the path information that meets the environment by an A-star algorithm. The multi-level modeling method helps perform the top-down and rough-detailed modeling analysis on the virtual environment; and the method has convenient, virtual and efficient effect, and has higher application value in such fields as group simulation, environment modeling, safe evacuation and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the intersection field of computer animation and environment modeling, in particular to a top-down multi-level virtual environment modeling method. Background technique [0002] The interaction between a virtual human and a virtual environment is very important, mainly including interactive behaviors such as sensing the environment, traversing the environment, and planning paths in the environment. Initial modeling of virtual environments exists mainly in robotics to assist traversal behavior in robot simulation. With the continuous development of the field of computer animation, autonomous agents and behavioral animations have begun to come into people's sight, and the demand for virtual environment modeling in crowd animation has attracted more and more attention. [0003] In the environmental modeling technology in robotics, Metric maps map drawing technology makes the distance information in the real world and the distance...
