Abstract

The present invention provides an ultrasonic treatment implement which comprises the following components: an ultrasonic transducer which generates ultrasonic vibration; an elongated vibration transmission connected with the ultrasonic transducer at the proximal end and transmits ultrasonic vibration from the proximal end to the distal end of component; and a treatment section which is installed at the distal end of the vibration transmission component and applies the ultrasonic vibration to the object to be treated. The treatment section is provided with a front end surface section which is provided with a holding part that can hold the object to be treated. The treatment section is provided with a small-diameter part extending from the proximal end to the distal end and a large-diameter part installed at the distal end of small-radius part. The outer diameter of at least one part of section of large-diameter part perpendicular to the longitudinal shaft of small-diameter part is larger than the outer diameter of at least one part of section of small-diameter part perpendicular to the longitudinal shaft of small-diameter part. The treatment part is provided with an edge-shaped edge part which is installed on the small-diameter part or between the small-diameter part and the large-diameter part.
