The compressor 3 and the condenser housing 4 are mounted on this transverse support. The side of the housing 4 facing the compressor 3 is open. On the side remote from the compressor 3 , the housing 4 is sealed off by the end wall 5 , but an opening is left on which the fan 6 is seated. The end wall 5 bears tightly against the rear wall 7 of the housing 4; the opposite edge of the end wall 5 is in contact with a vertical insulating wall between the recess 1 and the interior of the refrigeration unit (not shown in the figures).
