The invention relates to an emergency stop switch circuit meeting the CE requirements for an electric treadmill, which comprises an emergency stop switch, a first optical coupler, a main relay coil, adiode, a collector, a triode, a safety switch, an MCU1, an MCU2 and a second optical coupler, wherein the emergency stop switch, the first optical coupler and the main relay coil are connected to +12V power supply; the collector of the triode is connected with a cathode of the diode; the safety switch is connected with +5V power supply and the receiving end of the first optical coupler; the MCU1is connected with the other end of the first optical coupler; the MCU2 is connected with the MCU1; the transmitting end of the second optical coupler is connected with the MCU2, and the receiving endof the second optical coupler is connected between a base electrode of the triode and the ground; a control contact of a main relay is connected with a main circuit of the whole machine; and the MCU1and the MCU2 are connected with a main control panel and a drive plate respectively. Not only the emergency stop switch circuit and the safety switch are arranged but also the two devices are associated with each other. The invention has the poly-protection function, can guarantee the personal safety under the emergency condition, reduce machine faults and perform maintenance in time, and completely meet the CE requirements, and can be widely popularized and applied in the electric treadmill.
