Embodiment Construction

[0034] Figure 1 to Figure 11 A first embodiment of an adapter 1 according to the invention is shown for contacting a power switch 2 to a busbar system. The busbar system has three busbars arranged parallel to one another, onto which the adapter 1 can be slipped and connected in a clamping manner. This creates a mechanically stable, electrically conductive connection of the adapter and the busbar system.

[0035] The adapter 1 has a housing 3 and a flip plate 4 mounted therein. Two fastening strips 5 for the power switch 2 are pivotably mounted in the pivot plate 4 . Each fastening strip 5 has several threaded holes 6, wherein the threaded holes 6 of each fastening strip 5 form an irregular perforation pattern. The integral part of the adapter 1 also includes three electrical conductors 7, wherein each electrical conductor 7 facilitates the electrical connection of the power switch 2 with a tie bar 8 mounted in the housing (3), which is conductively connected to the bus The ...

Abstract

The invention relates to an adapter for contacting circuit breaker to bus bar system. The adapter (1) is characterized in that it has a housing (3), a turnover board (4) which is mounted in the housing, and three electrical conductors (7). Two fastening rails (5) for a power switch (2), are rotably supported in a bus bar system. The fastening rails (5) have multiple tapped holes (6). Each electrical conductor (7) is served to electrical connection of the power switch (2) and a connecting rail (8) that is mounted in the housing (3) and is conductively co-acted with the bus bar clip (9). The adapter can be applied to different power switches in simple and low cost design and not complicated operation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an adapter for contacting a power switch to a busbar system. Background technique [0002] Power switches are specialty switches designed for high currents. It not only makes it possible to switch on operating currents and small overload currents, but also to connect high overload currents and short-circuit currents in the event of a fault, to hold this fault current for a predetermined time and to switch it off again. Depending on the specific implementation, the power switch can be turned on in a single-pole or three-pole manner. [0003] Adapters for contacting power switches to busbar systems are known, for example, from DE 102 15 500 A1 and DE 20 2004 019 766 U1. [0004] In practice most different power switches are used. The power switches are to be connected mechanically and electrically to the adapter, and the adapter is to be connected mechanically and electrically to the busbar system. Especially with regard to t...
