Abstract

The invention discloses a method for reporting uplink power margin information and realizing the report of the uplink power margin information under the condition of carrier aggregation. The method comprises the following steps that: user equipment UE acquires own maximum transmitting power and the uplink transmission total power of a subframe of a currently reported PHR (Power Headroom Report); the UE computes a PH (Power Headroom) according to the maximum transmitting power and the uplink transmission total power of the subframe of the currently reported PHR; and the UE reports the PHR comprising the PH.
