Abstract

The invention provides liniment for treating psoriasis and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: grinding lightyellow sophora root, gentian root, rhubarb and root-bark of ditlany into powder, and soaking the powder in mature vinegar for one week to prepare filtrate (1); completely dissolving benzoic acid, salicylic acid, camphors and borneols in 75 percent ethanol to prepare solution (2); and mixing the filtrate (1) and the solution (2), and sealing the mixed solution to prepare the liniment. The liniment has the effects of clearing away heat and eliminating dampness, expelling pathogenic wind and relieving itching, killing bacteria and relieving itching and dissolving aging skin, can be used for treating psoriasis and has the characteristics of quick response, low side effect and relapse prevention; and according to clinical observation, the curing rate is 78.1 percent.
