Abstract

The invention discloses a method for encoding and managing materials and relates to a method for carrying out attribute digital encoding and management on production materials of an enterprise. The method comprises the main steps of: establishing a computer network for managing the materials; establishing an attribute parameter of each description attribute belonging to the type of materials and a single list of an attribute ID (Identity) code corresponding to each description attribute for each type of materials: defining the attribute ID code of each description attribute by utilizing one to two decimal codes; and running an embedded program to respectively construct a window inquiry operation interface for all materials so that a user selects all attribute parameters through a dropdown list on a display box of all attribute parameters on a window inquiry interface, then the embedded program automatically displays the attribute code of the material selected by the user in a target attribute code display box, and further a target attribute code of the inquired material is called out for user use. The method for encoding and managing the materials inquires the materials quickly and accurately and is suitably adopted in industrial and mining enterprises, logistic storage departments and the like.
