Embodiment Construction

[0033] Below to figure 1 The network architecture shown is taken as an example, and the embodiments of the present invention are described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0034] see figure 2 , is a schematic diagram of a video playback process provided by an embodiment of the present invention, wherein the EC does not enable the motion detection function when encoding and transmitting the encoded video data to the NVR for storage. The video playback process may include:

[0035] In step 201, the VC sends a video playback request to the VM.

[0036] In step 202, after receiving the video playback request sent by the VC, the VM sends instruction information to the NVR to instruct the NVR to send back the video data requested by the VC to the EC for motion detection.

[0037] During specific implementation, the VM can send the relevant information of the video data requested by the VC, such as the start and end time of the video data, to the NVR in th...

Abstract

The invention discloses a motion detection implementation method and device. The method is applicable to a video monitoring system including an NVR (network video recorder), an EC (encoder), a VC (video camera) and a VM (video manager), wherein the EC is connected with the NVR through a coaxial cable in a coaxial Ethernet mode. The method comprises the steps as follows: the VM receives a video playback request sent by the VC; and based on the video playback request, the VM indicates the NVR to decode video data requested to play back by the VC before feeding back to the EC through the coaxial cable, indicates the EC to carry out motion detection on the video data fed back by the NVR, recodes the detected video data, and then sends the video data to the VC through the coaxial cable or sends the video data to the VC through the NVR. According to the invention, the motion detection can be implemented by feeding back data to the encoder under the condition that a client can not carry out the motion detection.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to video surveillance technology in the field of communication technology, in particular to a method and equipment for realizing motion detection. Background technique [0002] EPCN (Ethernet Passive Coax Networks, Coaxial Ethernet) technology adopts point-to-multipoint user network topology, and uses the original coaxial cable of the radio and television system to realize full-service access of data, voice and video. The use of EPCN technology can well protect the original coaxial access network resources and effectively save investment. [0003] With the wide application of video surveillance systems, EPCN technology is also gradually applied to video surveillance systems to make full use of the network resources of the original radio and television system to realize video surveillance services. [0004] figure 1 Shows a network topology of a video surveillance system implemented using EPCN technology, in which image acquisiti...
