The lamplight mode control device comprises remote control equipment and a mode controller, wherein the remote control equipment comprises a mode control formulating module and a signal generating module; the mode control formulating module is used for formulating a look-up table in which remote control signals and lamp lighting modes are in one-to-one correspondence; the signal generating module is used for generating remote control signals, encrypting the remote control signals and then propagating the encrypted remote control signals in a wireless transmission manner; and the mode controller is used for receiving the look-up table, in which the remote control signals and the lamp lighting modes are in one-to-one correspondence and which is formulated by the mode control formulating module, and the remote control signals generated and propagated by the signal generating module, and searching the lamp lighting modes corresponding to the remote control signals propagated by the signal generating module according to the look-up table in which the remote control signals and the lamp lighting modes are in one-to-one correspondence so as to further generate a mode control instruction. The invention further discloses a lamplight mode control method.
