When the hybrid rail grinding wagon is operated in a power accessible area or tunnel area, power is taken from a contact system through a pantograph of the electrically driven power car, subjected to voltage reduction with a transformer, and subjected to rectification and inversion with an inverter to generate three-phase variable-frequency variable-voltage alternating current, which is supplied as power required by a tractor motor and the grinding devices.
