Embodiment Construction

[0025] An information collection system according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below based on the drawings. This information collection system is mounted on the machine tool.

[0026] The information collection system includes a main substrate 1 (second substrate) and a plurality of sub-substrates 50, 50, . . . , 50 (first substrate). CPU 2 , ROM 3 , RAM 4 , timer 5 , and communication master 10 (collection device) are mounted on main substrate 1 , and these parts are connected to each other through internal bus 6 . The communication master device 10 has an integrated circuit. The communication slave 20 (storage device) has an integrated circuit and is mounted on each sub-board 50 . The communication master device 10 and the communication slave device 20 and the communication slave devices 20 , 20 , . . . , 20 are connected through the signal line 8 . The signal line 8 is a line that transmits a voltage signal (first control signal o...

Abstract

The present invention relates to an information collecting system which uses a collecting device to collect information from a storage device. A plurality of communication slave devices are vertically arranged and connected through first connectors and second connectors. The first connector of the communication slave device arranged at one end is connected with a third connector of a communication master device. The communication slave device arranged at the other end is input by an H signal all the time. The communication slave device communicates with the communication master device. When the communication slave device finishes the communication, the communication slave device outputs the H signal to the adjacent communication slave device. The adjacent communication slave device communicates with the communication master device. The communication master device communicates with the all communication slave devices in order from the communication slave device at the other end to the communication slave device at the one end. The communication master device finishes the communication in the case that the communication slave device at the one end inputs the H signal to the communication master device.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an information collection system that collects information from a storage device by a collection device. Background technique [0002] The microcomputer system includes a CPU, a storage device, and the like. ICs (Integrated Circuits) are located on the periphery of the CPU. The microcomputer system reads the control program into the storage device, and accesses the IC based on the control program to obtain required information. The microcomputer system described in Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 144840 of 1991 accesses ICs connected in multiple stages. The CPU outputs a selection signal to the IC. The selection signal is sequentially passed to the IC of the next stage. The IC receives the selection signal and sets the address. The CPU refers to the address to exchange information with each IC. The CPU does not need to set addresses for each IC. [0003] When the microcomputer system acquires informatio...
