Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for determining a search space and a candidate control channel resource. The method comprises the following steps of: determining the bit number of downlink control information of each control channel which currently needs to be monitored by UE (user equipment); according to a mapping relationship between unit carrier wave for carrying data information channels and unit carrier wave for carrying control channels, which are used by UE currently, determining a temporary searching space which corresponds to each control channel which needs to be monitored by UE; and for the control channels which are same in CCE (communication control equipment) polymerization level and need to be monitored by UE currently, when the bit number of the downlink control information of one or more than one control channel is as same as the bit number of the downlink control information of a selected control channel, determining the practical search space which corresponds to the selected control channel is all or a part of CCE of the sum of the temporary search spaces corresponding to all or a part of control channels which are same in bit number of the downlinkcontrol information. Through adoption of the scheme, the probability of scheduling collision of PDCCH (physical downlink control channel) in a carrier wave polymerization system can be reduced.
