Problems solved by technology

[0009] In addition to TX filter and RF design non-idealities, RX filter and RF design non-idealities can also lead to unacceptable in-device coexistence interference
For example, some RF components can saturate due to the transmit power of another device's transceiver, but cannot be completely filtered out
And this will cause the low noise amplifier (Low Noise Amplifier, LNA) to saturate, and make the analog-to-digital converter (Analog to Digital Converter, ADC) not work correctly

Embodiment Construction

[0037] The following descriptions are preferred embodiments for implementing the present invention, and some embodiments are illustrated by the accompanying drawings.

[0038] image 3 is a schematic diagram of a user equipment UE31 with multiple radio transceivers in a wireless communication system 30 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The wireless communication system 30 includes a user equipment UE31, a serving base station (such as eNB) eNB32, a WiFi access point WiFi AP33, a Bluetooth device BT34, and a Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) system device GPS35. The wireless communication system 30 provides various network access services for the UE 31 through different radio access technologies. For example, eNB32 provides access to cellular radio networks (such as 3GPP LTE or LTE-A systems), WiFi AP33 provides local coverage for WLAN access, BT34 provides short-range personal network communications, and GPS35 provides global access as part of GNSS . Abstract

The present invention provides a hybrid frequency division multiplexing / time division multiplexing scheme that avoids coexistence interference in a device. The user equipment includes a first radio transceiver and a cooperating second radio transceiver. The user equipment detects coexistence interference between two radio transceivers based on radio signal measurements. The user equipment sends an in-device coexistence interference indicator to its base station. The user equipment also reports in-device coexistence information to its base station, where the in-device coexistence information includes recommended information for frequency division multiplexing configuration and recommended information for time division multiplexing configuration. The base station receives the in-device coexistence interference indicator and evaluates whether to trigger a frequency division multiplexing-based scheme to reduce interference. The above evaluation is based on frequency division multiplexing configuration and time division multiplexing configuration of recommended information. Based on the evaluation results of the feasibility and effectiveness of each solution, the base station can trigger a solution based on frequency division multiplexing, a solution based on time division multiplexing, or a combination of a frequency division multiplexing solution and a time division multiplexing solution.
