The insect and mite killing composition is prepared by binary formulation of Cyflumetofen and emamectin benzoate which serve as active ingredients. The weight ratio of Cyflumetofen to emamectin benzoate is 1:5-40:1. The insect and mite killing composition also comprises auxiliary ingredients which are allowed and acceptable in pesticides. The insect and mite killing composition can be used for preventing and controlling insects and mites like polyphagotarsonemus latus, Panonychus citri Me Gregor, Tetranychus urticae, tetranychus cinnabarinus, tea lesser leafhopper, tea leaf roller, cavity small leaf moth, worms in appetite and so on. The insect and mite killing composition has an obviously improved effect and a continuous preventing and controlling effect, and is safe to human beings and livestock and has high environmental compatibility, and the dosage of pesticides is reduced.
