Abstract

The drive train of a vehicle has a drive unit, a transmission and an auxiliary gearbox. The operation of the transmission and auxiliary gearbox is controlled by the transmission control unit. The transmission control unit controls the auxiliary gearbox and the shifting of the transmission during operation of the vehicle.
