Abstract

The invention provides a system and method for automatic updating of buffer video advertisements. The system for automatic updating of buffer video advertisements comprises an advertisement management module, a peer-to-peer (P2P) downloading module, an advertisement updating module and an advertisement screening module. Compared with the prior art, a method for automatic updating of buffer video advertisements is adopted. When the buffer video advertisements are played by users, the buffer video advertisements are subdivided aiming at different crowds according to specific playing time intervals, application platforms or video program contents. Brands aiming at different crowds in everyday life are selected, and videos which are distributed and buffered are provided. Through clear and smooth playing, better playing effect and higher target audience arrival rate are achieved.
