Embodiment Construction

[0029] In order to further explain the technical means and effects adopted by the present invention to achieve the intended purpose of the invention, the specific implementation and working principle of the method for network coding the OpenFlow network proposed according to the present invention will be described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and preferred embodiments. Detailed description.

[0030] Depend on figure 2 It can be seen that the method for network coding of the OpenFlow network provided by the present invention comprises:

[0031] The OpenFlow controller first asks whether the OpenFlow switch supports network coding;

[0032] The OpenFlow switch responds to the query;

[0033]If the OpenFlow switch supports network coding, the OpenFlow controller obtains the network coding configuration parameters of the OpenFlow switch; in this embodiment, the OpenFlow controller can obtain the network coding configuration parameters of the OpenFlow swit...

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of network coding and discloses a method of network coding for Open Flow networks. The method of network coding for the Open Flow networks includes: if Open Flow switchboard supports network coding, then a controller obtains network coding configuration parameters of the Open Flow switchboard. When the Open Flow switchboard receives a data packet, the Open Flow switchboard matches the data packet with a flow table and judges whether coding strategy for the data packet exists in the Open Flow switchboard or not. If coding strategy for the data packet does not exist in the Open Flow switchboard, the data packet is sent to the controller, the controller designs the coding strategy for the data packet, and the controller sends the coding strategy back to the Open Flow switchboard. Practicability of the Open Flow switchboard and the controller in network is improved with the method of network coding for Open Flow networks including relevant coding interactive behavior of the Open Flow switchboard and the controller.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of network coding, and is mainly applicable to a network coding method for an OpenFlow network. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of Internet technology, the number of services carried by the network is increasing day by day, the types of services are becoming more and more complex, and the scale of the network is also increasing. This makes the network ills caused by functional design defects based on the traditional network architecture increasingly obvious. The current network has low efficiency, is difficult to expand, and cannot meet the increasingly demanding needs of users in terms of network service quality, security, and manageability. In response to the current problems, Professor Nick McKeown and others proposed the software-defined network (Software Defined Networking, SDN) in 2007. OpenFlow is the core technology for implementing SDN. OpenFlow transforms the original pack...
