The invention discloses a closed hydraulic system and an engineering mechanical chassis with the same. The closed hydraulic system is used for controlling a drive motor according to output rotation speed of an engine in engineering machinery. The system comprises a main pump for providing oil source for the drive motor and further comprises a proportional electromagnetic valve and a detecting mechanism for detecting output rotation speed of the engine. The proportional electromagnetic valve outputs control pressure according to output signals of the detecting mechanism to control output volume of the main pump. The closed hydraulic system and the engineering mechanical chassis integrated with the same are higher in response speed and control precision. Fuel consumption of the engineering mechanical chassis utilizing the new control manner is reduced, and better stepless speed control is achieved.
