The power management device comprises a USB (universal serial bus) input interface, a USB output interface, a battery, a key unit and a control unit. The control unit comprises an operating state detection module, a key signal detection module and a key detection enable signal generation module. The operating state detection module judges that an external power supply is disconnected by detecting the USB input interface, the power management device is in a standby state, and the control unit is switched off. The key detection enable signal generation module generates corresponding enable signals according to control signals and triggering signals of the key unit, triggers starting of the key signal detection module and keeps the key signal detection module in an operating state within a preset time period. The key signal detection module responds to the enable signals and controls the power management device to execute corresponding functions according to the key triggering signals.
