Abstract

An embodiment of the invention discloses a vehicle-mounted information system. The vehicle-mounted information system comprises a ground sub-system, at least one vehicle-mounted sub-system and at least one terminal sub-system, wherein the vehicle-mounted sub-systems are arranged on vehicles; each vehicle-mounted sub-system comprises a vehicle-mounted wireless local area network, a vehicle-mounted server and a vehicle-ground communication gateway; the vehicle-mounted sub-systems are used for being communicated with the ground sub-system through the vehicle-ground communication gateways; the terminal sub-systems are used for building communication connection with the vehicle-mounted servers through the vehicle-mounted wireless local area networks. The vehicle-mounted information system can provide comprehensive and interactive entertainment-information service information for passengers in travel and improve traveling experience of the passengers.
