Embodiment Construction

[0020] In the field of aviation, medical technology and many applications, people often hope that the laser beam can project energy uniformly to a rectangular area located in the far field to illuminate the CCD active imaging system. However, due to the Gaussian characteristics of the intensity distribution of the fundamental transverse mode laser, the imperfections of some optical elements, and the inhomogeneity of optical materials, etc., will cause optical and thermal inhomogeneity in the illumination area, nonlinear effects of light, diffraction effects and The phenomenon of uneven gain distribution of the amplifier makes it difficult for the wave surface and light intensity distribution of the beam to meet the requirements of uniform illumination. An effective method to eliminate beam inhomogeneity is to use an array system to divide the wavefront into a large number of sub-beams, and then focus them together through a lens, so that any point on the target surface has sub-...

Abstract

The invention provides a design scheme of a laser homogenization system based on a holographic optical element (HOE). A microlens array is selected to be served as a main optical component of the scheme. A manufacturing method of the HOE is compared with a manufacturing method of a traditional optical element and a tradition lens array and a superiority is acquired. A design and development of a laser homogenization HOE system based on a novel holographic material and an application of space imaging in an aviation field are provided. Based on a K vector closing analysis design method of the HOE, an optical path design of the system is performed. A novel laser holographic material is used to make a laser illumination homogenization optics system assembly. An innovation point of the system comprises that the HOE based on interference and diffraction principles is used to replace the traditional optical element based on refraction and reflection principles so as to carry out the design and manufacturing of the laser homogenization system. The system possesses the following advantages that the system is light and thin; the system is cheap; it is easy to be copied; performance is stable and so on.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a laser beam homogenization system based on a holographic optical element used in an airborne laser imaging radar system. Background technique [0002] With the continuous development of optical holographic technology and the continuous improvement of the performance of holographic materials in recent years, the application of holographic optical elements (Holographic Optical Element, HOE) is becoming more and more extensive, but there are few precedents of applying HOE in laser beam control. [0003] Guided by the application of space imaging in the field of aviation science and technology, the present invention proposes a design method of a laser illumination homogenization system based on HOE, and selects a microlens array based on holographic optical elements as the main optical component of this scheme. Based on the superiority of traditional optical components and traditional lens array manufacturing methods, the design, ...
