Abstract

The invention provides a precoding method applicable to a three-dimensional multi-user multi-input and multi-output system, and belongs to the technical field of wireless communication. Each user selects a precoded codon for obtaining the maximal channel gain by each user according to corresponding horizontal dimensional and vertical dimensional channel state information (CSI), and then feeds an index corresponding to the optimal codon back to a base station terminal; the base station terminal restores the corresponding horizontal dimensional and vertical dimensional precoded codons according to the received feedback information, so as to structure a 3D precoded matrix on the basis of the Khatri-Rao product. Thus, the precoding treatment on the data transmitted by each user is achieved. By adopting the precoding code book construction method proposed by the invention, not only is the precoding code book better matched with the current channel space, but also multi-user cochannel interference CCI can be effectively restrained. Therefore, a simple and efficient implementation scheme is provided for downlink 3DMU-MIMO precoding.
